Behavior

Behavior, a concept from experimental psychology, refers to observable actions. When behavior is measured by self-evaluation, that refers to the person’s awareness of engaging in a behavior and how much they identify with it. For example, some people might regularly engage in behavior that promotes safety (wearing safety gear, etc.), and if this behavior is important to them, they will also rate themselves highly for that behavior.
