Soft skills

Soft skills (see transferable skills) are skills related to an individual’s emotional and interpersonal intelligence and ability to communicate. They differ from and complement hard skills, which are more technical, measurable competencies. Examples of soft skills are creativity, curiosity, flexibility, and the ability to work independently. These kinds of skills have become increasingly important in individuals’ employability.
